Whiskey Road Reserve: Providing a Sanctuary for Nokota Wild Horses

Whiskey Road Reserve provides prairie lands where the  Nokota can roam freely, graze native grasslands, find water, and live in a natural environment.  For the Nokota horses, this is about more than providing pasture.  These horses carry a remarkable history connected to the Native American tribes of the Northern Plains.  In essence, the Nokota have returned 'home'.
